Shoes, glorious shoes!
Ok, I have to admit right now, I LOVE SHOES. Love ‘em. Love shopping for them, wearing them, looking at pictures of them. True story: I once actually broke my foot just from too much stiletto wearage. So nobody could have been more excited than I was when the trend for beautiful, non-traditional wedding shoes came along, and since then it has grown and grown. It started off as a cute way to reflect the colour of the wedding or an excuse to buy a pair of designer heels, but since then it has turned into a real style statement, and a great way to reflect the taste and personality of the bride (plus groom and wedding party!). You make the rules. And the really good news is that it always makes for totally cute photos.
If you’re looking for some shoe-wawa to add to your wedding, hands down the best designer roundup I’ve seen recently is here. (Except for the Choos, but that might just be me.)
In the meantime, take inspiration from this gorgeous selection from recently featured weddings…
