Inspiration Board {1 Theme 3 Ways}: The Bells of St. Clement’s

This week we’re featuring three citrus-themed inspiration boards inspired by Cape venues to show how a single theme can be interpreted in a number of different ways. Which one is your favourite?

**************************************************************

Our final board is sweet and classic, using orange and yellow, with hints of grey and pale pink. Think soft spring sunlight and fresh country air. It could really work at any number of winelands venues (and of course, even better if you’re getting married in Citrusdal!) but the one I’ve picked is Môreson in Franschhoek. This pretty farm has lemon orchards flanking its winery and restaurant (Bread & Wine – part of the spectacular Le Quartier Français group), making this the perfect place to show off this theme and to allow your guests to enjoy views through the lemon groves to the vineyards beyond. Serve homemade lemonade and use botanical prints to accent stationery, and for that extra sweet and simple touch you can’t beat the lemons lining the aisle!

Colours: Pale orange, yellow, pink and grey

Top row (l-r): Botanical print; shoes, flowers, Môreson wine crate
Row 2: Lanterns, lemon centrepiece; kumquat place setting; lemonade; hairpiece
Row 3: Bridal party at Môreson; lemon aisle decoration; table setting; bride.

If you’d like to see more lovely examples of fruit as part of wedding design, have a look at our feature here.

Note: None of the posts in this series have been sponsored by the featured venues, including Môreson.

      Thanks Kate. :)
I think my preferences are probably the same as yours, but either way, I’ve fallen even more in love with fruit as part of wedding design. Suspect there may be a few more fruit-related boards at some point!
